~ Adieu for now...

Hello, do you have a moment to talk about climate change?

It is not what you think. And I'm not asking you to plant trees or go vegan.
I'm not asking you to do anything but spread the awareness.

'Climate Change' has been plastered on the news before. And maybe you thought we will/have fixed it by planting trees, recycling, or by some technological-blanket that could solve/prevent this in the future.

But that's not the case.

Some people don't believe that climate change exists. Untrustable, being propagated/backed by scientists for financial reasons, or there simply isn't enough evidence or ways to know for sure about it. Some say it isn't caused by humans and that it isn't something we should worry about. Some think it's unpreventable, and everything seems hopeless. I don't care, because we are going to die anyway- so why do anything about it?

Why not just have fun?

((Don't worry about it, it won't affect us anything soon.
There's nothing that we can do....
Planting trees are good, but it isn't enough.
Let the professional handle it.
You're not even a scientist, sit down.
There 'isn't' even proof for it.))

And, yeah. I may not be a scientist, but I am a concerned kid in this generation that wants to live. I want to enjoy life too, and not deal harshly with this when it's 'too late'. When most of the people responsible for this will die or did not help climate change by perpetuating misinformation about it in their complacent denial or just being complacent in general. (Even if we still, maybe, could change it and there's never such thing as 'too late'. But prevention and mediated moderated change are also good.)

We still have a persistent problem with pollution. The main reason the earth is warming in the first place, regardless if you believe it or not. Carbon dioxide causing the greenhouse effect on the atmosphere is still a problem. Be it from fossil fuel, gas for transportation, or even processes from certain meat industries. (Yes, this is why some people think going vegan will help- other than ending animal cruelty itself. But, I'm not asking you to go vegan. Moving on.)

I'm not asking you to do anything other than to understand that this is a thing that's still going on and still unsolved yet till today, despite the 'green' attempts like planting trees or doing recyclable is doing good for the earth.

Maybe, there is nothing we could do... until, our time. Our time when we could take action, or just be prepared with this truth in out hand... or, at least keep an open-min about it. To stop spreading 'simply' misinformation funded no less by the companies who want to soil the truth, that hasn't made many monumental changes to this issue thus far (and misinform it too in the meantime, even if they will or will not safe-face at the end).

I don't want to throw you into a conspiracy rabbit hole, I just want you to understand... and, if it's a topic that resonates with you, maybe you could spread this understanding too to a lot of people. Because, as much as I support race, work, and gender equality... I feel that this topic isn't talked about enough, and is highly misunderstood than the former topics mentioned.

Please. Do what you can do.

Why does the people from way back in the 80s/90s get to live a long and semi-fruitful life while I seemingly can't? Why sulk in nihilism or defeatism while we can still do something. Even if it's just talking more, knowing, and correcting the discord surrounding the topic of our very planet's survival. The planet that we inhibited. Or at the very least, our survival...

.
I have made a Youtube playlist (Linked above)

if you are interested to dissect and watch through them. I do not mind if you share them if it could be useful in that sense. Please do tend to yourself too, I know that it might not be a comfortable topic to talk about and I understand if you wouldn't want to engage in it, especially if it hasn't been best for the last couple of days. But I hope you'd give it a shot, or at least keep these issues pertinent in mind.

Or alternatively, you could take a look at the evidence yourself from the scientists that actually studied this from NASA. But I'd recommend watching the videos alongside your own researches.

Especially since having multiple people/viewpoints/videos to help you guide around the topic than a static website could is, in my opinion, certainly more beneficial despite me curating the videos provided in the playlist in the first place.

.
As the last note. We still can change the course of global warming, the use of carbon/fossil fuel, and live a long and overall better more self-reliant life that's led with a more critical and caring approach. Despite the bleak 'predictions' that are preventable and eye-opening actually.

I want to live... Thank you.
